Sally Test Center

So I'm on the pediatric ward this week which is definitely a change of pace. We finished rounding earlier than usual so I got to go to the Sally Test Center for the first time. The Center is a place for children recovering from the hospital or who have been abandoned. It offers classroom activities like arts and crafts, library services, and educational classes for parents. Today I hung out with Alex. He is an 8 month old who was abused and abandoned on the side of the road. The center houses and feeds him until he can be placed with foster parents or be adopted!
